If you are looking for a more individualized learning experience, we offer private lessons for both children and adults at the ASCA visual arts space on Elk Avenue.  Lessons are scheduled with instructors who are also local Crested Butte artists, and who are some of the best in their field.  In addition to the instructors listed below, we have working relationships with a number of other professional artists in the community who are able to teach a range of visual arts mediums.  Please contact us so we can match you up with the appropriate instructor.  

 

Rebecca Weil

For over 5 years Rebecca Susan Weil has resided in Crested Butte where she is successfully operating her boutique photography business, Third Eye Photography and profitably exhibiting her photography in galleries and art festivals throughout Colorado. She studied photojournalism in the Communication School at Syracuse University where she embraced the use of a camera as a tool to tell a story truthfully and accurately. Most recently she has been exploring the use of the camera to obscure the common and create abstractions. She photographs pieces of everyday life, mostly nature, and uses the limits of the photograph to morph them into visual creations to explore and challenge traditional points of view.

  • One Student:  $50/hour
  • Two Students:  $70/hour
  • Three Students:  $90/hour
  • Four or More:  $25 per person/hour  

 AT ANOTHER LOCATION (Your home, etc.):

  • One Student:  $70/hour
  • Two Students:  $90/hour
  • Three Students:  $120/hour
